We’re here to help you create a better shirt without over-tapping your resources and time. We’ve compiled a list of things to help you prepare your artwork so your vision becomes a reality.
We accept the following file types:
We prefer .AI or .EPS files first because Vector images can be scaled without affecting quality. If you are unable to provide those file types then we recommend PSD or .PDF second & JPG or .TIFF last.
For the best screen print quality, garments need a flat surface. Printing over seams, pockets, or zippers can cause gaps or cracks in the ink due to uneven fabric height. While we do our best, we can’t guarantee perfect results on those areas.
Many customers request large prints, but oversized screens don’t work well on all garments. Smaller sizes or certain cuts can lead to misprints or damage. To avoid issues, consider using both a standard and oversized screen, or choose garments better suited for jumbo prints.
Depending on brand, smaller shirt sizes may need to be stretched to fit oversized pallets, which can lead to distorted prints, cut-off designs, or even damaged garments. Always check garment compatibility before choosing jumbo prints.
Depending on the design, the low neckline may cut into the design and cause the print to go over the seam (see section above). Keep this in mind when you are designing your shirt!
Most tanks have a low neckline and sleeves which may cause the print to go over the seams. Please keep this in mind when designing!
Oversized pallets are typically wider than most women’s cut t-shirts. This may cause the same issues listed for “Small/Medium/Large” shirts.
When ribbed garments are laid onto the press they are not stretched out, because of this the ink only prints on top of the ribs. Due to the stretchy nature of ribbed garments, when it is worn the ink pulls apart and cracks, exposing the gaps the ink did not reach. For this reason, we strongly suggest against printing on ribbed garments.
Some garments are not constructed with smooth fabrics like standard t-shirts, because of this they will not work well with detail. Here is a list of garments you should avoid using if your design requires great detail:
